That was a nice tribute to a special friend. My wife and I got our first dog in 1990, and we have endured the death of three dogs since then. We currently have four small dogs, and I try not to think about the inevitable because the death of each of our previous dogs left a significant void. That void gets smaller over time, but it is never filled. I offer my sincere sympathy.

What a beautiful eulogy. My Oggie Dog is getting on in years. I’ve placed him on a special diet of rice, sheep, and misc. table scraps. He can no longer eat dry dog food, nor does he want to. Don’t know what goes into that stuff, but I’m sure it’s not good. Oggie’s sure too. I will miss him when he goes. My condolences for your loss.
